Project Management Capability Assessment
Knowing your strengths and weakness is critical for any business in order to craft a proper growth strategy. In order to implement that strategy, a business must understand the project management strengths that it can leverage as well as the weaknesses it must solve.
Fog City Consulting will assist you with this by formally assessing your organization's current project delivery and project management capabilities against 10 key criteria. The major inputs for the assessment are interviews with a sample of employees representing all levels of the organization along with reading the organization’s current project management documentation.
Our goal is to develop an achievable improvement plan, and help keep the momentum going by supporting the execution and measurement of the recommended improvements.
The Cap
Fog City Consulting will deliver you a Capability Assessment Plan (CAP). The CAP will outline our specific recommendations and a proposed sequenced roadmap that provides realistic milestones for short and long-term process improvement activities. We will also partner with you to ensure that the plan addresses change enablers that will help overcome cultural barriers in order to ensure total success within your organization.
Ongoing Support
A critical component of our approach is to provide two check-ups at the six month and one year marks in order to highlight the progress and achievements of the CAP as well as the initiatives that are still to be completed. Most importantly, the check-up allows for taking a step back and incorporating any changes that have taken place to the business or organization since the original assessment was completed. Fog City Consulting will conduct an abbreviated assessment and compares the newer findings with your baseline CAP. Any new and/or supplemental recommendations will be added to the CAP in order to be tracked with the original recommendations.
