We have designed our approach to focus the momentum of the team in the right direction over a very intense 3 to 5 day window. Our approach consists of three key phases:

Analysis & Planning

It is critical to the effort that it is well planned given the short duration. Our initial step will be to work with your team to assess your current process and leverage as much of that methodology and overall project governance as possible. The next critical step is to identify all the team members on the project from the project sponsor to the people or groups that will provide support for the project. With this information in hand, we will jointly plan for the successful kickoff.

Discovery

This phase is where all the heavy lifting will take place. We have designed a proven workshop approach that places the entire project team together over several days in order to promote team bonding, provide first hand involvement, and deliver real time decisions. The workshop will accomplish the following key goals:

• Define and sign-off upon project scope, success criteria, change control process, and major deliverables
• Develop team roles and responsibilities
• Define a communication plan
• Arrive at consensus on key decisions and action items
• Create a schedule driven by clearly defined and accurate tasks, dependencies, resource availability, and realistic dates
• Assess project risks and develop a plan to mitigate them

Execution

Your organization will be provided with a final report from the Discovery phase to allow your project resources to manage the ongoing effort.
